Allowing one boiled lobster per person, cut lobster meat into about 1-inch pieces. Add salt and pepper, mix with mayonnaise, serve on lettuce with a sprinkling of paprika. If you wish, try marinating cut-up lobster meat with lemon juice, allowing it to be refrigerated before mixing with mayonnaise. Some cooks even marinate the lobster meat with a small amount of oil dressing. Others add finely diced celery. Many cooks do not like to mask the flavor of lobster in any way, except with mayonnaise.
